General Labouring Personnel

Offering 3 to 6 days per week, including Saturday's for those available to work, we are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and hard working staff to fulfil our works.

Ideally applicants will be flexible, work rosters are undertaken around your availability and ability to access job locations. All work undertaken is done in teams and 95% of our roles are day shift. All activities involve manual handling up to 20kg (non repetitive), all applicants need to be physically fit, active and willing to work with others. Solid communication skills are essential, reliability a must, punctuality is paramount and your WANT to work is a core trait. 

Our roles and tasks include the following;

  • Commercial Relocations and Removals;

  • Temporary Fencing Installation and Removal;

  • Installation/Demolition of Work Stations;

  • Trades Assistants;

  • General Labouring;

  • Commercial Furniture Installation/Removal;

  • IT Disconnect/Reconnect Activities;

We facilitate roles in the following environments;

  • Public Sector Works;

  • Private Sector Works;

  • Higher Education Environments;

  • Transport Depots;

As indicated previously, with the nature of roles provided, we do have differing licencing and qualification requirements - applicants who possess White Cards, Working With Children Checks, Current Police Checks, Forklift Licences and Truck Licences are highly sought.

95% of our works are day shift, 85% undertaken in the CBD and inner fringe suburbs, 70% of work is accessible via public transport. However, applicants who have access to their own vehicles are keenly sought. We pay a four hour minimum shift, however most days are 7 - 9 hours and overtime is paid for shifts extending beyond 7.5 hours in a day.

We are seeking staff IMMEDIATELY for commencement of work with Logistics United. Applicants will be screened, successful parties will then be contacted via phone for screening and paperwork issued via email. Upon return of paperwork, interviews will be undertaken via Zoom.

All applicants require their own PPE, minimum requirements are Steel Capped Safety Boots, High Visibility Shirts (Preference is orange in colour), Blue/Black Work Pants or Shorts.
